Job Purpose:
To be a senior part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function providing a high standard of professionalism along with quality of service to a varied client base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Assist in the preparation of cash flows
- Liaise with clients to resolve any queries
- Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time
- Produce draft computations for clients
- Review work undertaken by junior staff
- Provide assistance in the development of junior staff
- Prepare schedules for Tax returns
Skills, Qualifications and other Requirements:
- Minimum AAT level 4 or Part- Qualified with at least 2 years practice experience
- Strong accounting system knowledge and excel competency
- Desire to deliver a high quality of service to a varied client base
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management, being able to prioritise time and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven analytical skills
